At Fantasy Caravan, we aim to make the Australian caravanning experience accessible to as many Australians as possible. Fantasy Caravan was started by the team behind ‘Big Man Trailers’ in Moorabbin. Over 15 years, they had grown Big Man to become one of Australia’s biggest galvanised trailer brands and knew the trailer business inside out.
In 2018 they saw an opportunity to take the knowledge and skills built over 15 years into the caravan market. Fantasy Caravan was born, and our first models were the off-road hybrid campers and camper trailers. Within the first year, our model range had expanded to include our first full-height, full-sized touring caravan.
We knew we were onto something when early on, we started getting reviews like this one from Steve:

We started to grow. To meet the demand, we appointed franchise dealers around the country and opened a second factory-owned dealership in Brisbane.
After two years of sharing a showroom with Big Man Trailers, it was clear we needed our showroom to match our growth and demand, and we moved the Melbourne operation to Dandenong.
In 2021 we launched our luxury on-road caravan range. – the ET-19 couple caravan and a bunk version of the ET-19B for families.
In 2022 our factory-owned Melbourne showroom had outgrown its second home and moved to a new location on the Princes Highway in Dandenong.
Couples and solo travellers love our range of small caravans to use as a weekend getaway, while the more adventurous travellers love our off-road hybrid caravans to get off the beaten track. More recently, we have extended our range to include luxury touring caravans for those who are wanting to travel in comfort and style.
We have an extensive range of affordable bunk and double-bunk caravans and forward-fold camper trailers to get families on the road and making unforgettable memories.

Off-road conditions in Australia can be tough, but our hardcore off-road hybrid range is designed to handle it. You won’t be disappointed with their performance. All of our products are built according to Australian Safety Standards and Australian Design Regulations. This means you can be confident that our products are safe and meet all the relevant legal requirements.
In addition, we back our product. That is why every Fantasy comes with a 5-year structural and 1-year manufacturer warranty.

The construction techniques applied are second to none, and we’re always striving to find ways to improve our products and services. We are accredited with the Caravan Industry Association – WA and are awaiting our membership confirmation with the other state and national associations.
